We collect information you provide directly, including account details, social media connections, and transaction history. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns.

When you connect a Web3 wallet to FanCurve, we collect your wallet address and ICP principal ID and associate them with your platform account. We may also collect and retain social media profile information where you connect or authenticate via a third-party social platform, both for current functionality and to support future platform features. On-chain activity associated with your wallet — including token purchases, sales, and holdings — is publicly recorded on the ICP blockchain and is not considered private data under this policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the platform, process transactions, verify Creator identities, provide customer support, send important updates, improve our services, and prevent fraud and abuse.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with infrastructure and service providers who help operate the platform, including hosting services, analytics providers, and on-ramp service providers where applicable. We do not process or store payment card data. We may also share information when required by law, or with your consent. Public profiles display information you choose to share.

4. Blockchain Data

Creator token transactions — including purchases, sales, and token holdings — are permanently recorded on the ICP blockchain and are publicly visible. While wallet addresses are pseudonymous, your full transaction history is readable by anyone. FanCurve cannot delete or modify blockchain records under any circumstances. Third parties may be able to link your wallet address to your identity through external data sources or analytics tools. You should consider this before connecting a wallet you use elsewhere.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption, secure servers, and regular security audits. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyse platform usage. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly without cookies.

7. Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to access your personal information, request corrections, delete your account, opt out of marketing communications, and export your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@curve.fan.

8. Children's Privacy

The platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover we have collected information from a child, we will delete it immediately.

9. International Users

FanCurve is incorporated in the British Virgin Islands and operates on the Internet Computer Protocol, a decentralised network whose infrastructure is distributed across node providers and validators in multiple countries. Data stored on-chain may be replicated across jurisdictions outside your country of residence. By using the platform, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in jurisdictions with different privacy standards than your own. If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific data protection rights, those rights may still apply to personal data we hold off-chain.

10. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

11. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. The "Last updated" date indicates when the most recent changes were made.

13. EU Residents

FanCurve does not permit access from any member state of the European Union. EU residents are not authorised to create accounts or use the platform. If you believe personal data about you has been collected during an unauthorised access attempt, contact us at privacy@curve.fan to request its deletion. Please note that data recorded on the ICP blockchain cannot be deleted due to its technical architecture.

14. ICP Infrastructure

Data stored within FanCurve's smart contracts on the ICP network is replicated across a distributed set of independent node providers and validators. FanCurve does not operate or control these nodes or validators. The geographic distribution of node providers and validators may change over time as the ICP network evolves. By using the platform, you acknowledge that your on-chain data may be stored and processed across this decentralised infrastructure.

15. Wallet Data Handling

When you connect a Web3 wallet to FanCurve, we associate your wallet address with your platform account in our off-chain systems. We do not store your private keys and cannot access your wallet. Wallet addresses connected to your account may be retained after account deletion where required for legal compliance or fraud prevention purposes.

16. Analytics and Tracking

We collect usage data through Mixpanel. This data is used to understand how users interact with the platform and to improve its features. Data collected by Mixpanel is subject to their privacy policy.
